Memorial Day and Always (#1042)

Memorial Day and Always (#1042)

It’s eight days from now, and Memorial Day of course started as Decoration Day after the Civil War to commemorate those that died in combat in the service of our country and they would decorate their grave sites, but then over time it just became called Memorial Day. So,, we’re very, very thankful for the brave men and women that have fought to give us the freedom and safety we have in our country, as well as all the other service personnel and first responders and as many others that make our lives safe, peaceful, and free. We’re delighted and are very thankful. So, remembering is big deal in the Bible and we will read some of the verses about it. So I’m calling the topic today: Memorial Day and Always. Meaning yes, on Memorial Day we should remember those that gave their lived for our country, but everyday we should remember what God has done for us.
