Delightful Direction (#981)

Delightful Direction (#981)
Good morning. We’re going to talk today about — it is called Delightful Direction. We are going to focus on God directing our paths and some aspects of it and what a delightful life that gives us when we look to God and allow Him to direct our paths. And we’ll start with a very well known verse, and of course this is a something we look at from time to time. But I checked the notes, but we’ve not looked at it for quite a while, so it is about time we went back and took a look at this. Here in Proverbs chapter three…

Love God with Thanksgiving (#980)

Love God with Thanksgiving (#980)
Good morning! Here we are, another wonderful morning in God’s word with wonderful saints; and today we’re going to look at the importance of Loving God. In the manifestations we just heard, God told us over and over again how much He loves us, and that is wonderful to remember that. Because as we all know, sometimes people love us, sometimes they don’t care about us at all. But whether people love us or are on our side or not, God is always there. What a great treat that is. So we’ll talk about the importance of loving God and doing so with wonderful thanksgiving. Because the more thankful we are; and to me thankfulness is very simple, it is just a matter of remembering what God has done for us. Because we always have good things happening to us, we always have things that are sort of moderate and neutral, and occasionally we have bad things happening to us. And we can sometimes forget what God has done, so thanksgiving is so important. So, Loving God with Thanksgiving, let’s start in Deuteronomy chapter six.
