Patient Expectation, Part 2 (#976)

Good morning! We’re going to continue today on what we started last session on Patient Expectation, where we simply have to expect God to bless us and we have to patient to see when He is going to open the doors and provide what we need, but He always does. Last time we ended with Isaiah chapter 40, where it says: “they that wait with expectation upon the Lord, shall renew their strength.” Now we’ll start this morning in Lamentations, so please go to Lamentations chapter three…

Lamentations 3:21-26     The Lord’s compassions and mercies (lovingkindness) are new every morning. portion (vs. 23: share, possession) wait (vs 25: qawah – wait with eager expectation)

Romans 15:1-6                   Patience and comfort of the scriptures [through patient endurance and the encouragement drawn from the scriptures]; the God of patience.

Colossians 1:9-11              Strengthened unto all patience with joyfulness

I Thessalonians 1:3           Patience of (proceeding from) hope

I Thessalonians 5:14-15   Be patient toward all

II Thessalonians 1:3-4       We glory for your patience and believing

II Thessalonians 3:1-5       The Lord direct into patient waiting for [patience of] Christ

Hebrews 12:1                      Let us run with patience [patient endurance] the race before us
